Thursday, 14 February 2019 marked the 60 year anniversary of the dedication to the war memorial on the original pool complex.

Gunnedah Shire Council hosted a formal opening and plaque unveiling with special guests to mark the occasion and declare the complex officially open.

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Anderson AO and Gunnedah Shire Mayor Jamie Chaffey unveiled the plaque.
