Our Sister Cities

Our community has connections far beyond our Shire.

As part of our place in the global community, Gunnedah Shire has four Sister City partnerships – with Lane Cove, New South Wales; the Yinzhou District of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, China; the Northern Beaches Council, New South Wales; and most recently, Kolomotu’a in the Kingdom of Tonga.

Forming partnerships can have amazing benefits for both regions, building our cultural ties, employment connections, tourism possibilities and sharing information and experiences.
