February 21, 2022 Gunnedah Shire Council has a new roadmap for economic development for the next five years. Council this week adopted the Gunnedah Shire Economic Development Strategy 2022-26, a document that provides Gunnedah Shire Council with strategic direction for economic development, promotion and facilitation. Council to auction properties to recover long-term debts
February 17, 2022 Gunnedah Shire Council will auction 16 properties on Friday, May 27 to recover rates and charges that have remained unpaid for more than five years in the case of occupied land, or one year in the case of vacant land. Orange Grove Bridge open to pedestrians
15 February, 2022 Orange Grove road residents will have some improvement to access with Gunnedah Shire Council implementing temporary pedestrian access across the closed Orange Grove Bridge. February 9, 2022 The call is out for landholders to keep an eye out for the invasive Parthenium weed, which was discovered on three properties in Gunnedah Shire last year.
