Long-serving Councillor, the late Hans Allgayer, was recognised with a road named in his honour at an unveiling on site today. Allgayer Drive connects the existing Torrens and Mathias roads in an industrial subdivision, owned by Mackellar Excavations. The pop-up style Dessert Bar was a youth initiative and raised $800 for Gunnedah Youth Council and Gunnedah Community Scholarship Fund.
