GUNNEDAH SHIRE 2021 FLOODING EVENTS

In early December 2021, Gunnedah was impacted by significant flooding. The floods have officially been declared a Natural Disaster, impacting on people across the Shire, including householders, business owners and primary producers. The floods also caused significant damage to Gunnedah Shire’s bridges, roads, footpaths, parks, sporting grounds, causeways and other infrastructure. The damage assessment and repairs will take some time, and we ask for your patience while this work goes ahead.

To help you prepare for and stay safe during a flooding event, and to recover effectively, here is some useful information.
