26 July, 2021 The NSW Government have announced the council elections due to be held on September 4 have been delayed for three months due to the escalating COVID-19 situation. A new date has been set for Saturday, December 4 2021 and current councillors will continue to hold their civic offices until this time. July 1, 2021 Gunnedah Shire Council has commenced work on an upgrade to the busy Bloomfield and Henry Street pedestrian crossing, which will be relocated to improve safety and traffic flow. July 1, 2021 Last week’s visit from Animal Welfare League NSW proved to be a great success, with 99 local cats and dogs attending the Mobile Vet Truck (MVT) for veterinary services.
